Aqeedah of Imam Ash-Shafe'ee

This golden series of Aqeedah in Masjid Ibrahim focuses on presenting to our noble 
brothers and sisters the aqeedah of our great Imams of the past whom we all 
respect and love.  Many of us claim to follow their madh-hab but don't focus on 
knowing what was their belief.  And unfortunately, many parts of the world have 
adopted to blindly following these madhaahib with regards to the fiqh but forgot to 
go back learn from what they really believed in.  Previously we have covered the 
Aqeedah of Imam Abu Haneefah and Imam Malik (may Allaah have mercy on 
them).  'Aqeedah is essential and comes before action and statement.  It is the 
foudation of our religion, if that is corrupted, everything is corrupted.  If our belief 
system is sound, what will follow will have a good and strong foundation.  We 
welcome all of you to attend these classes and benefit from the lectures.  This 
series of Aqeedah class will make it clear that all these imams were united upon one 
Aqeedah and were not influenced by the mis-interpretation and misguidance of the 
heretic sects (i.e. mu'tazilah, ashaaira, maaturidiyyah, shias, mutakallimuun etc....)

A prominent speaker and student of knowledge, Sheikh Ghassan has ijaazah in 
hadith from Shiekh Muqbil Ibn Haadee Al-Waade'ee ('alayhi Rohmatullaah).  We ask 
Allaah to increase him in knowledge, taqwa and obedience to the sunnah.
